Role Overview:

As a Backend Engineer at Netrin, you will be part of a sports technology company focused on building products that enhance fitness, lifestyle, and performance. Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain backend APIs and services using Python and AWS-based infrastructure
• Implement REST APIs and build scalable, fault-tolerant backend systems
• Set up and oversee cloud infrastructure, including compute, storage, databases, and monitoring using AWS services such as ECS/Lambda, S3, and RDS
• Create asynchronous data processing pipelines that integrate LLM services
• Optimize relational database schemas for structured and semi-structured data
• Establish CI/CD pipelines for reliable and consistent deployments
• Ensure adherence to security best practices, including encryption, access controls, and audit logging
• Integrate enterprise-grade authentication systems like OAuth2 and JWT

Qualifications Required:

• 46 years of professional experience in backend engineering utilizing Python
• Hands-on experience with AWS services such as ECS, Lambda, S3, RDS, and IAM
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL, including schema design and query optimization
• Experience in designing scalable, fault-tolerant systems
• Ability to develop and maintain REST APIs
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and monitoring systems
• Proficient in implementing authentication and authorization mechanisms like OAuth2 and JWT
• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• Strong problem-solving skills and effective communication abilities
