Our client, a highly regarded Toronto family law boutique, is seeking an Associate Lawyer with 3+ years of family law experience to join its growing team.

Key Responsibilities
➡️ Manage family law files from intake through resolution
➡️ Conduct client meetings and provide strategic, empathetic legal advice during highly personal matters
➡️ Draft pleadings, financial statements, affidavits, conference briefs, motion materials, and separation agreements
➡️ Attend mediations, case conferences, settlement conferences, motions, and court appearances
➡️ Work closely with financial professionals, business valuators, parenting professionals, and other experts where needed
➡️ Negotiate resolutions and support clients through litigation and settlement processes
➡️ Collaborate closely with senior counsel on complex and high-conflict matters
➡️ Maintain strong file management and litigation timelines
Qualifications
➡️ 3+ years of family law experience
➡️ Member in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario
➡️ Strong knowledge of the Family Law Rules and court process
➡️ Experience handling financial disclosure, support calculations, and family law litigation matters
➡️ Excellent advocacy, drafting, and negotiation skills
➡️ Ability to manage files independently while working collaboratively within a team
➡️ Strong emotional intelligence, judgment, and client relationship skills
➡️ Interest in long-term growth and practice development considered an asset
