About the Role

A national trade association representing the nuclear energy industry is hiring a Marketing Manager to support the development and execution of integrated, data-driven marketing campaigns across its programs, conferences, and membership initiatives. The organization works at the intersection of energy policy, industry advocacy, and public engagement, representing member companies before Congress, the executive branch, and federal agencies.

This role sits within the Strategic Communications division and works across conferences and events, membership, creative, digital communications, and external communications. The Marketing Manager translates program goals into targeted multi-channel campaigns, owns day-to-day execution and optimization, and uses performance data to continuously improve results. The position reports to a Senior Marketing Manager and contributes to campaign strategy while leading hands-on implementation across email, web, social media, and digital platforms.

What the Role Covers

  • Developing and executing integrated, multi-channel marketing campaigns across email, web, social media, and digital platforms to drive engagement and conversions
  • Translating program and organizational goals into campaign strategies, messaging frameworks, and tactical execution plans
  • Building audience segmentation strategies and personalized marketing journeys to improve targeting and engagement
  • Monitoring campaign performance in real time and making data-informed optimizations to improve results
  • Conducting post-campaign analysis and delivering actionable insights and recommendations for future efforts
  • Running A/B tests, messaging experiments, and other optimization strategies to continuously improve performance
  • Supporting marketing strategies for conferences, workshops, and industry events, including campaign execution, messaging, and promotional planning
  • Managing event webpages and landing pages to ensure accuracy, strong calls to action, and optimized user experience
  • Monitoring registration performance and adjusting campaigns to support attendance goals
  • Partnering with the creative studio to develop marketing assets, translating campaign strategies into clear creative briefs and feedback
  • Drafting campaign messaging, scripts, and concepts for video and multimedia content
  • Leading planning and alignment of video and multimedia marketing initiatives with internal teams and external partners
  • Supporting membership marketing by developing targeted communications that promote member value, engagement, recruitment, and retention
  • Building and optimizing automated marketing journeys for current and prospective members
  • Managing campaigns through marketing automation, CRM/AMS platforms, and digital tools
  • Using AI-enabled tools to enhance content development, campaign insights, and workflow efficiency
  • Coordinating timelines, workflows, and deliverables across teams using project management tools
  • Managing relationships and deliverables with external vendors and partners

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business, or a related field
  • 6+ years of experience developing and executing integrated marketing strategies and campaigns
  • Proficiency with marketing automation platforms (e.g., Marketo), CRM/AMS systems (e.g., Re:Members), and CMS platforms (e.g., Kentico)
  • Strong understanding of audience segmentation, lifecycle marketing, and campaign optimization
  • Ability to analyze performance data and translate insights into actionable recommendations using tools such as Google Analytics, Power BI, or Tableau
  • Strong project management skills with experience using tools like Monday.com
  • Experience in event marketing, association marketing, or membership-based organizations (preferred)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365
  • Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills
