Job Description
As a Back-end Developer for Agentic AI, Automation & Integrations, your role will involve building the execution and integration layer for agentic AI solutions and enterprise automation use cases. You will be responsible for converting manual, repetitive, and clerical processes into scalable backend services and software workflows. The key focus will be on API-first systems, orchestration engines, enterprise integrations, and containerized services connecting AI capabilities with real business operations. This is a challenging role that requires building reliable systems to support intelligent agents, process automation, and software-led transformation at scale with Azure-first architecture.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, APIs, and microservices for agentic AI solutions and enterprise automation workflows.
- Build orchestration layers for AI agents to interact with internal systems, external APIs, enterprise applications, databases, and workflow tools.
- Develop integrations with platforms like SAP, Salesforce, NICE, and other applications for end-to-end process automation.
- Translate manual workflows into backend-driven software processes for triggering, monitoring, auditing, and continuous improvement.
- Design and deploy containerized services using Docker and manage them in Kubernetes environments.
- Implement asynchronous and event-driven application patterns using core JavaScript and Node.Js frameworks.
- Build secure and reusable API layers for various interactions and workflow executions.
- Collaborate with AI engineers, data engineers, stakeholders, and product owners to develop backend solutions.
- Ensure system performance, scalability, observability, reliability, and fault tolerance.
- Write clean, testable, maintainable code and participate in code reviews, deployment planning, and technical documentation.
- Support production rollout by troubleshooting defects, optimizing performance, and improving system stability.
Qualifications Required:
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
- 2-4 years of experience in backend development, API development, and system integration.
- Strong programming skills in Node.Js, JavaScript, and additional backend languages like Python or Java.
- Clear understanding of core JavaScript concepts and asynchronous execution.
- Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, microservices architecture, and REST APIs.
- Knowledge of SQL and NoSQL databases, data modeling, and Azure services.
- Ability to break down complex business operations into scalable backend services.
- Analytical thinking, debugging capability, and ability to work effectively in a cross-functional environment.
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with AI/ML-enabled applications and message brokers like Kafka or RabbitMQ.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, infrastructure automation, and DevOps practices.
