Job Description
Kaizen Approach is currently seeking a Business Analysis and Facilitation SME to support a high-visibility federal program with U.S. Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS). In this role, you will lead business analysis efforts across complex, cross-functional initiatives focused on business process improvement, Agile adoption, and operational modernization. You will be responsible for gathering and defining requirements, facilitating stakeholder engagements, and translating business needs into actionable solutions that improve efficiency and mission outcomes. This position involves leading requirements workshops, developing process models, and supporting system integration and deployment efforts. You will also collaborate across program leadership, technical teams, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment and successful delivery of program objectives. Requirements: * Must have the ability to lead requirements gathering efforts across large, complex federal programs, including facilitating workshops and stakeholder sessions.
- Must have the ability to analyze and document business processes, develop process flows, and identify opportunities for optimization and improvement.
- Must have the ability to translate business needs into functional requirements, use cases, and system specifications.
- Must have the ability to support Agile environments, including backlog development, user story creation, and sprint planning activities.
- Must have the ability to collaborate with technical teams to support system integration, testing, and deployment efforts.
- Must have the ability to engage with senior stakeholders and provide recommendations that influence business and operational decisions.
- Must have direct experience supporting DHS or USCIS programs, including exposure to the immigration ecosystem, related policies, and systems supporting identity management and immigration status verification.
- Must have experience supporting federal programs with a focus on process improvement, requirements analysis, and system implementation.
- Must have at least eight (8) years of experience in business analysis or related fields and a Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
- Must be able to obtain and maintain DHS suitability clearance.
