About Role
We are hiring for one of our clients seeking a Senior Facilities Management Specialist to oversee operations within public-private partnership (PPP) projects. This role focuses on ensuring efficient facility performance, regulatory compliance, and long-term asset management.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage day-to-day facility operations and maintenance activities
- Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and stakeholders
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance programs
- Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and cost control
- Review contracts and support compliance with project agreements
- Identify and implement operational improvements
- Support energy efficiency and sustainability initiatives
- Maintain accurate documentation and reporting
- Participate in project planning and lifecycle management
- Support emergency response activities as required
Qualifications (Required)
- Diploma or degree in Facilities Management, Engineering, Project Management, or a related field
- Minimum 5 years of experience in facilities management or related field
- Experience managing contracts within structured project environments
- Experience in financial planning and budget management
- Must be legally eligible to obtain required government security clearances where applicable
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in public-private partnership (PPP) environments
- Knowledge of building systems, maintenance practices, and regulatory standards
- Experience with long-term infrastructure or facilities contracts

Working Conditions
- This is an on-site position based in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada

Compensation
Annual base salary range: CAD $88,600 – $138,600
Compensation will be determined based on experience, qualifications, and market factors.
