Role Description

This is a full time on-site role located in the Pune Division for a Social Worker. The Social Worker will be responsible for providing support and advocacy to individuals, families, and communities in areas such as mental health, child welfare, and community development. Responsibilities include assessing client needs, creating actionable plans, coordinating with external agencies, delivering counseling and support services, and maintaining detailed case documentation. The role requires collaboration with interdisciplinary teams and community stakeholders to address social challenges effectively.

Qualifications

Strong interpersonal, communication, and counseling skills to build trust and engage with diverse clients effectively

Experience in case management, assessment, and developing care plans tailored to individual needs

Knowledge of community resources, social support networks, and how to access them for ensuring client well-being

Familiarity with ethical standards and legal regulations governing social work practice

Problem-solving and critical thinking abilities to address complex social issues and crises

Proficiency in record keeping, documentation, and case reporting systems

Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with multi-disciplinary teams

Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, or a related field (Master's degree preferred)
