Job Description
If you're a strong writer who understands that content should build trust and create pipeline — not just impressions — this role is worth reading carefully.
We're Graewolves, a Montreal-based brand and marketing agency. We work with executive coaches, technical founders, consultants, and agency owners to help them become the obvious choice in their market. Our approach is research-first and behaviorally grounded — we care about why buyers make decisions, and that thinking runs through everything we build for clients, including their content.
We're hiring a full-time ghostwriter and email marketer. You'll write LinkedIn posts and newsletters for a portfolio of professional services clients — in their voice, connected to their offers, designed to move the right buyers closer to a decision. You'll also create content for Graewolves.
What the work actually looks like
This isn't a content mill chasing max volume. The work is research-first, voice-specific, and strategically oriented. Each client is a specialist — a technical founder who built a proprietary framework, an executive coach who charges $25K+ for a program, a consulting firm whose senior partners have 20+ years of domain expertise the market doesn't fully see yet.
Your job is to get inside their world, understand their buyer, and write content that sounds like them while serving a clear strategic purpose.
That means doing real research — reading their methodologies, interviewing them for content, and reading briefs we send you about their niche and their competition — before you write a word. It means following our Graewolves' systems and frameworks to build a content strategy for each client that maps to their offer, not just their interests. And it means thinking about each post and newsletter in terms of what it's supposed to do for the person reading it, not just what it says.
Per client, you'll be producing 2-4 LinkedIn posts/week, plus a newsletter every 1-2 weeks. You'll be managing multiple clients simultaneously, so the ability to hold different voices and contexts — and move between them cleanly — is core to the role. Coordination with a VA and designer is part of the workflow, along with light project management for your own client load.
What you'll build for Graewolves
Beyond client work, you'll own a portion of our own content: 4 LinkedIn posts/week across our 2 founder profiles and a weekly Substack newsletter. Our content has a specific job — it reaches founders and firm leaders, from solo practitioners to teams of 100, who are serious about scaling and know that consistent, effective content marketing is part of how they get there. Most of them have the expertise.
What they're missing is the infrastructure to be posting high-quality content consistently. That's the audience you'll be writing for and, in time, you'll understand them well.
Who we're looking for
You're already a strong writer. That's the baseline for this role, not the aspiration. The question isn't whether you can write — it's whether you think strategically about what you're writing and why, and whether you can do it convincingly across different voices and industries.
You might come from ghostwriting, journalism, editorial, content strategy, or copywriting. What matters is that you've been writing seriously and at a high level — you're not someone who started this a year ago. You don't need a decade of ghostwriting credits, but you do need to be genuinely good and able to demonstrate it.
Beyond craft: you're curious about how buyers think. You can research an unfamiliar niche quickly and write about it with authority. You read something good and immediately have a take on why it worked. You understand that a great piece of content has a job to do, and you think about that job before you write the first line.
Experience writing for professional services, consulting, or B2B audiences is an advantage. Email marketing experience (Klaviyo or similar) is a bonus, not a requirement.
Why this role, specifically
If you've been freelancing, you know how much energy goes into finding clients — pitching, chasing, wondering where the next project comes from. This is the alternative. We provide a consistent roster of clients and a full-time scope of work. You focus entirely on the writing. No business development. No dry months. 40 hours/week of work that compounds.
Beyond the stability: you'll work closely with two founders who think deeply about positioning, buyer psychology, and how high-ticket professional services grow. That knowledge base will be available to you as you work. If you want to understand how content connects to branding, marketing, sales, and pipeline — not just produce posts — this is an environment built for that.
