Social Media Manager/ Videographer/ Personal Assistant

About the Role

I am a full-time digital content creator looking for a highly organized, detail-oriented female assistant to support filming, editing, and social media growth across multiple platforms.

This role is ideal for someone who is experienced with social media, has basic photography and videography knowledge, and can take initiative without needing constant direction. Professionalism and discretion are essential.

Responsibilities

• Film content
• Video/photo editing
• Learn and operate equipment efficiently (Sony A7IV, gimbal)
• Research trending songs, formats, and viral ideas
• Plan structured filming sessions (outfits, locations, shot lists)
• Schedule filming days as necessary
• Perform light photo and video editing (trimming clips, retouching skin, adding captions or hooks, overlaying trending audio)
• Maintain consistent posting schedule across:
• Instagram (2 accounts)
• TikTok
• YouTube Shorts
• Facebook Reels
• Review weekly performance metrics
• Suggest improvements based on data
• Ensure consistent workflow and avoid last-minute posting or filming
• Assist with bookkeeping preparation for accountant

Ideal Candidate

• Female (required due to nature of content production)
• Organized and detail-oriented
• Comfortable filming and working with camera equipment
• Familiar with current social media trends
• Basic photography and video editing skills
• Strong understanding of analytics and performance metrics
• Proactive and solution-oriented
• Reliable, discreet, and professional
• Knows the basics of bookkeeping

• Experience growing social media accounts
• Familiarity with Reels, TikTok, and short-form video algorithms

• Knowledge of videography and photography

Structure & Compensation

To begin:

• Approximately 1 hour per day for posting and light editing (7 hours per week)
• 1 additional hour per week for planning and analytics review
• Total: approximately 8 hours per week

Filming sessions:

• 1–2 sessions per week (or biweekly depending on content needs)
• Filming hours paid separately

30-day trial period.

Salary, hours and responsibilities may expand based on performance.
