The Assistant

Director will report to the Director of Care and will be responsible for enhancing nursing quality and safety. Candidates must possess at least three years of long-term care experience and be adept in areas like risk management and staff development. Your leadership will ensure the effective delivery of resident-centered care in compliance with required standards. Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in nursing department evaluations and improvements
• Lead initiatives on best practice and risk management
• Oversee nursing supplies utilization and effectiveness
• Maintain care assessment and planning systems
• Collaborate on special projects with the DOC Requirements:
• Registered Nurse with BScN preferred
• Registration with College of Nurses of Ontario
• At least three years of long-term care experience
• Knowledge of quality improvement principles
