Role Overview
We are looking for a Business Development Manager who can drive client acquisition, partnerships, and revenue growth across retail and HNI segments. This role requires someone who can build trust with clients, expand distribution networks, and contribute to long-term business growth.
Key Responsibilities1. Client Acquisition & Revenue Growth
● Acquire new clients across Retail, HNI, and emerging affluent segments
● Drive AUM growth through mutual fund distribution and investment solutions
● Build and manage a strong sales pipeline
2. Relationship Management
● Develop long-term relationships with clients and partners
● Act as a trusted advisor for investment solutions
● Ensure high retention and client satisfaction
3. Partnerships & Distribution
● Onboard and manage IFAs, RIAs, and channel partners
● Build strategic partnerships within the financial ecosystem
● Expand distribution reach across geographies
4. Product & Solution Selling
● Work closely with internal teams to position investment offerings effectively
● Translate financial concepts into client-friendly narratives
● Gather market feedback to improve offerings and processes
5. Market Intelligence
● Track trends in mutual funds, wealth management, and fintech
● Identify new business opportunities and customer segments
What We’re Looking For
● 2–6 years of experience in wealth management / mutual fund distribution / fintech sales
● Strong understanding of mutual funds, SIPs, asset allocation, and financial products
● Existing network of clients / IFAs / distributors is a strong plus
● Strong communication and relationship-building skills
● High ownership mindset with strong execution capability
Good to Have
● Experience working with AMCs, RIAs, or wealth platforms
● Exposure to fintech products
● Certifications like NISM / AMFI ARN
Success Metrics
● AUM growth
● Monthly revenue / commissions generated
● Number of active clients onboarded
● Partner network expansion
