Associate, Specialist, Operational Risk Management, Risk Management Group

As a Risk Management professional at our company, you will be responsible for effectively managing the risk management process and frameworks of the bank. Your key accountabilities will include:

• Facilitating the implementation and ongoing monitoring of adherence to the DBS Group Operational Risk Management (ORM) Framework within the Business / Support units (BU/SU).
• Maintaining key relationships with UORMs of the BU/SU and raising potential operational risk and control issues to RMG and line management of BU/SU.
• Contributing to department initiatives to improve the management of operational risk using Data Analytics.
• Ensuring Satisfactory Ratings in Audit reviews and compliance to regulatory requirements.

Your job duties and responsibilities will involve:

• Ensuring adherence by Units on Third party risk management framework aligned with RBI and Group guidelines.
• Providing oversight on third party risk management with special focus on Outsourcing Risk.
• Providing advice, guidance, and training to the Business / Support units (BU/SU) on Third party risk management and outsourcing risk.
• Developing policy framework for Business Continuity Management (BCM) and ensuring alignment with RBI and Group requirements.
• Managing regulatory and internal audits for BCM and Third Party Risk management.
• Engaging with relevant business/support units UORM, facilitating the use of relevant operational risk tools and methodologies.
• Managing and maintaining the ORMS system for Third Party Risk management modules.
• Conducting thematic reviews and deep dives on third party risk management, outsourcing risk management, and business continuity policy adherence.
• Supporting operational risk metrics (Risk Events, CSA, KRI, etc) as appropriate.

In terms of educational qualification, we are looking for candidates who are CA/Graduate/MBA/Post-Graduate with 3-5+ years of relevant experience in managing Operational Risk Management (ORM) with a focus on handling Outsourcing Risk and Business Continuity.
