About The Role

We are looking for a passionate and driven Email Campaign Specialist to join our team to manage the day-to-day creation of marketing emails. This role is responsible for hands-on email build, campaign creation, set-up, list management, quality control, and deployment.

To be successful in this role, you must be self-motivated and able to successfully manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced work environment. Execution of your daily responsibilities with high accuracy and attention to detail is key. And, just as importantly, you must be a team player with outstanding communication skills who stays calm under pressure.

Email Campaign Specialist Responsibilities

  • Building and setting up email campaigns in the applicable ESP
  • Supporting email development with a working knowledge of HTML
  • Developing and managing deployment lists using various inputs (inclusion/exclusion criteria, profile attributes, campaign data, etc.)
  • Performing a variety of quality assurance checks to ensure accuracy across all campaign elements, including copy, images, links, personalization fields, audience segmentation, and send timing
  • Scheduling and deploying one-time, recurring, triggered, and dynamic campaigns based on campaign requirements
  • Ensuring all campaigns follow current email best practices (deliverability, responsiveness, accessibility, etc.)
  • Maintaining compliance with relevant regulations (CASL, CAN-SPAM, CCPA, etc.)

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • 1-2 years of hands-on experience building and deploying email marketing campaigns
  • Experience deploying emails in at least one ESP (Adobe, Mailchimp and Hubspot experience considered an asset)
  • Comfort with light HTML editing (ie, ability to modify code to update content as needed)
  • Working knowledge of email build components, such as:

Templates and modules

Image handling (rendering, alt text, file size)

Link tracking (UTMs, click tracking)

Preview and test send processes

  • Proficiency working with checklists, approval workflows, and documented QA standards
  • Strong understanding of email best practices, including targeting, messaging, responsive design, deliverability, A/B testing, and performance metrics
  • Strong organization skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns at once
  • Ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Self-sufficient and proactive, with strong verbal and written communication skills

At Conversion Digital, we are committed to fair and equitable compensation for all employees. The expected salary range for this role for candidates is $45,000–$55,000. In addition to base pay, we offer a comprehensive total rewards package, including competitive benefits.
