Scheduled Required: Wednesdays (17:00-21:00) and alternating Saturdays

Closing the Gap Healthcare (CTG) is dedicated to providing Canadians with the highest level of care across a wide range of home and community settings.

We are looking for a Nurse (RN or RPN) who is comfortable providing care to our clients. Our next Nurse will thrive in a culture made for caring where being flexible and possessing strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills will drive the success of their role.

What You Will Be Doing

• Experience working with pediatric clients is required.
• Deliver compassionate, client-centered care with specialized expertise in tracheostomy management, ventilator support, gastrostomy tube care, and vital sign monitoring
• Administer medications and assist with personal care routines.
• Communicate and coordinate effectively with parents and other caregivers.
• Maintain a strong commitment to community-based care.
• Prepare and maintain client reports and updates.
• Build meaningful relationships with clients through empathy, consistency, and trust.
• Demonstrate initiative and independence, thriving with minimal supervision.
• Prioritize safety for both yourself and your clients, adhering to best practices and protocols.

Skills Needed For Success

• You are a highly energetic and enthusiastic individual who thrives in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
• Exceptionally organized, with strong time management skills and the ability to effectively manage your schedule.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, allowing you to connect clearly and confidently.
• Proven ability to build strong relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
• Minimum of two years’ experience in a community care or clinical/hospital setting is preferred.
• Currently certified as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) with the College of Nurses of Ontario (CNO).
• Certified in Standard First Aid & CPR/AED (Level C).
• Able to provide a current Mask Fit test certification.
