Job Title: Underwriter – US Mortgage LIVE UNDERWRITING

Experience: 2+ Years

Work Mode :- REMOTE

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform underwriting for US Residential Mortgage loan files.
• Analyze borrower profiles based on income, credit, assets, and property details.
• Conduct Live Underwriting by interacting with clients or internal teams in real-time.
• Evaluate loan eligibility using the 4 C’s (Credit, Capacity, Capital, Collateral).
• Review documentation including credit reports, income proofs, bank statements, and appraisals.
• Ensure compliance with US mortgage guidelines (Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac, FHA, VA).
• Identify and mitigate risk while making sound underwriting decisions.
• Maintain quality and turnaround time (TAT) standards.
• Communicate loan decisions clearly with stakeholders.

Required Skills

• Strong experience in US Mortgage and US Residential Mortgage underwriting
• Hands-on experience in Live Underwriting
• Good understanding of the 4 C’s of Credit
• Knowledge of US mortgage guidelines (Agency & Non-Agency)
• Ability to analyze financial documents and risk factors
• Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and analytical skills
