You will lead data science initiatives to build predictive models, NLP solutions, and scalable data systems.

Responsibilities

• Develop novel, scalable data systems in cooperation with system architects to enhance user experience.
• Research, develop models, and create data products using large user datasets.
• Lead and mentor data scientists, providing technical leadership and professional coaching.
• Manage project lifecycles by estimating effort, identifying risks, and meeting schedules.
• Collaborate with cross-functional development and product teams to deliver end-to-end features.

Required Skills

• 8+ years of experience in data science and project leadership.
• Expert knowledge of Python.
• Hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and NLP.
• Proficiency in predictive modelling, statistical analysis, and vector space modelling.
• Experience with deep learning libraries including TensorFlow and PyTorch.
• Experience with machine learning techniques such as regression, decision trees, clustering, and neural networks.
• Competency in feature selection and building/optimising classifiers.
• Experience with backend technologies like Flask and Gunicorn.
• Familiarity with open source libraries such as SpaCy, NLTK, or Gensim.
• Understanding of database modelling, continuous integration, and service-oriented architecture.
• Ability to manage and lead a team of 2-5 members.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with ensemble methods and Bayesian statistics.
