Job Description

Drive legal strategy as a Legal Counsel specializing in Labour, Employment, and Human Rights at a leading Canadian firm. This position is primarily in-office, 4 days a week. Our client, a well-established publicly traded business, encompasses a wide range of consumer-facing operations nationwide.

The ideal candidate will have a minimum of three years’ experience post-call in management-side labour law. You will oversee legal matters directly affecting HR and contribute to high-stakes hearings and arbitrations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Represent the organization in arbitration and human rights matters
  • Offer strategic legal guidance on employment issues
  • Draft and review employment agreements and policies
  • Counsel on workplace safety and legal obligations
  • Develop training programs to foster legal compliance Requirements:
  • Minimum of 3 years post-call experience in labour law
  • Proven experience in human rights hearings
  • Strong oral and written advocacy skills
  • Excellent legal analytical and drafting abilities
  • Ability to integrate legal advice with business strategies Contribute your legal skills in employment law to support a complex, vibrant organization dedicated to its workforce.
