This full-time role in Thunder Bay demands a leader skilled in law enforcement, supervision, and community engagement. You will oversee the Municipal Enforcement Officers to ensure compliance with municipal bylaws and health and safety regulations. Your expertise will enhance team performance and ensure public safety through effective mentoring and support.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise by-law enforcement and animal control activities
• Monitor performance and coach Municipal Law Enforcement Officers
• Prioritize officer workloads to meet division goals
• Coordinate safety meetings and monitor health compliance
• Liaise with the public regarding enforcement inquiries

Requirements

• Diploma in public administration or related field
• Three years’ experience in municipal law enforcement
• Minimum one year in an administrative supervisory role
• Knowledge of municipal bylaws and provincial legislation
• Proven ability to interpret legal regulations
