Indigenous Healing and Wellness Caseworker

Lead efforts in Indigenous healing and wellness as a full-time Caseworker in Thunder Bay. Focus on crisis intervention, cultural programming, and educational workshops to reduce family violence.

In this crucial role, the Caseworker will implement the Indigenous Healing and Wellness Strategy to address community needs. Candidates should have a background in social justice services and at least three years of relevant experience. The position emphasizes knowledge of Indigenous culture and engagement with the community to promote healthy living.

Requirements

• Postsecondary degree/diploma or equivalent in Social Justice
• Minimum of three years in social or justice services
• Knowledge of Indigenous culture and trauma-informed practices
• Valid Ontario driver’s license and clear criminal reference check
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and case management skills
