YOUR NEXT CHALLENGE:

Reporting to the Near Surface Mine Operations Supervisor, you will be part of the Near Surface Mine Operations Department. You will be responsible for operating heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner. This position is a support role to mining and part of the team UG including Services, Construction, Development & Production.

You will ensure that the goals and objectives are achieved while promoting and respecting Agnico Eagle’s values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct and the environment.

• Completed & ongoing competence with required core modules:
• Operating grader equipment to fine grade, spread and push aggregate materials;
• Perform daily maintenance and safety checks of equipment;
• Perform routine cleaning and maintenance to ensure smooth operation of the grader;
• Operate the grader and other heavy equipment in a safe and appropriate manner;
• Operate other heavy equipment and other logistics related duties as required;
• Demonstrate competence in relevant UG Hard rock common core;
• Housekeeping – keep work areas clean free from hazards;
• Communication – listen to and communicate with others, keep accurate records on 5-point card, aligning with daily tasks;
• Teamwork – work with others to meet and where possible exceed daily KPI’s set by Supervisor.

WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED

• Minimum 3 years grader experience
• Physically Fit, self-starter with can do attitude;
• Tolerance for hot / cold and humid environment;
• Demonstrated Safety awareness;
• Literacy and Numeracy to minimum year 10.

• Schedule: 7/7 schedule at our Macassa Mine in Kirkland Lake, ON.

Compensation Statement In accordance with applicable legislation, the expected compensation includes base salary and potential bonus opportunity. Your individual pay will reflect your skills and experience while remaining competitive within the local market.
