Role Description This is a temporary, hybrid Financial Analyst role based in Worcester, MA, with a mix of on-site work and some work-from-home flexibility. The Financial Analyst will support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to inform business decisions. Daily responsibilities include analyzing financial data, preparing and reviewing financial statements and reports, and monitoring key performance indicators. The role will also involve collaborating with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights, supporting month-end and quarter-end close activities, and assisting in the development and improvement of financial models, tools, and processes.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Finance and Financial Planning, with the ability to build and maintain budgets and forecasts.
• Proficiency in analyzing Financial Statements and preparing Financial Reporting for internal and external stakeholders.
• Advanced Analytical Skills, including the ability to work with large data sets and derive clear, actionable insights.
• Proficiency in spreadsheet and financial modeling tools (e.g., Microsoft Excel or similar); experience with ERP or accounting systems is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field; relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CPA, or progress toward these) are a plus.
• Strong attention to detail, accuracy in numerical work, and the ability to meet deadlines in a dynamic environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills and the ability to collaborate with diverse, cross-functional teams.
• Prior experience in a financial analysis or similar role is preferred, especially in a hybrid or multi-site environment.
