Job Description

Join our dynamic team as a Machine Operator responsible for operating filling and packaging equipment during night shifts. With a 2/2/3 schedule, this role provides the opportunity to contribute to our production processes and maintain high standards in food manufacturing.

Shift: 2-2-3 schedule 5pm-5am

Pay Rate: $22.48/hour

Responsibilities

• Operate filling and packaging equipment and perform daily and weekly preventative maintenance.
• Make minor mechanical repairs and replace defective parts as necessary.
• Set up machines by feeding containers onto conveyor lines and inputting product details into computer systems.
• Conduct quality audits to ensure products meet maximum/minimum fill lines.
• Assist in packing and production at the end of each line as needed.
• Stop machines for clean-in-place (CIP) procedures, which may involve getting wet.
• Maintain compliance with GMP and HACCP/FDA regulations, production records, and quality reports.
• Assist in training production assistants on GMP and safety rules.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chambersburg, PA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $20.48 - $22.48/hr.
