OVERVIEW: We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Compliance Officer to join our dynamic team. The Officer plays a key role in gathering, analyzing, and coordinating compliance-related information across the organization. This role will work closely with departmental leaders, operational teams, and external partners to ensure compliance obligations are understood, documented, monitored, and met. WHAT YOU WILL DO: Support the implementation and ongoing maintenance of the Compliance management program, ensuring organizational processes remain aligned with regulatory and policy expectations. Assist with compliance risk assessments, including the collection of evidence, documentation of control activities, and identification of compliance gaps or areas requiring remediation. Coordinate the development, review, and maintenance of compliance policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring they remain accurate, current, and aligned with regulatory changes. Support compliance monitoring and testing activities, including scheduling reviews, collecting documentation, analyzing results, and preparing reports for leadership. Coordinate the regulatory change management process, tracking new or updated requirements, gathering impact assessments from business areas, and coordinating policy or process updates. Maintain compliance documentation, including policy attestations, training records, and evidence repositories required for internal and external audit or regulatory reviews. Provide compliance-related training and guidance and respond to routine inquiries from business areas to help them understand expectations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships to support a positive and proactive compliance culture across the organization. WHAT YOU WILL HAVE: A minimum of three years of experience in compliance, privacy, audit, or a related field. An undergraduate degree in Business, Law, Public Administration, risk management or other relevant fields. Relevant professional certifications (CCO, CCEP, CRMA, CIA, or similar) are an asset. Experience supporting the development or monitoring of compliance programs, including policy compliance, control testing, self-assessment and training. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders across departments. Clear written, verbal communication abilities, including experience preparing reports or presentations. Commitment to customer service and supporting business partners through guidance and clear communication. Strong analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to gather and interpret data and identify gaps in documentation. Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint. Experience with GRC tools would be an asset. This position will remain open until a suitable candidate is selected.
