Trainer & Ops coordinator Retail (Luggage & Travel Accessories Brand)
Location: Bellandur; Bangalore

Role Overview
We are seeking a proactive and performance-driven Training Manager to lead hiring, training, and performance management of retail store teams Pan India. The role will play a critical part in building a strong frontline workforce, enhancing customer experience, and driving store productivity through structured training programs, SOP-driven operations, and effective incentive frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
Retail Staff Selection & Onboarding
- Interview and select retail store staff across locations
- Ensure timely filling of positions and deployment of store associates
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline with the HR team
Retail Operations Coordination
- Collaborate with operations teams for smooth store functioning
- Support stores in resolving operational challenges
- Ensure compliance with brand standards and customer experience guidelines
SOP Creation & Implementation
- Develop and standardize Store SOPs to ensure consistency in operations
- Ensure adherence to SOPs across all stores
- Regularly review and update SOPs based on business needs and feedback
Reporting & Analytics
- Prepare MIS reports on training effectiveness and store performance
- Use insights to improve productivity and training outcomes
Sales Incentive Planning
- Design and implement sales incentive plans aligned with business targets
- Define clear incentive structures based on KPIs such as revenue, conversion, and upselling
- Monitor effectiveness of incentive plans and optimize periodically
- Ensure transparency and timely communication of incentive schemes to store teams
Training & Evaluation
- Design and implement structured training programs for retail teams
- Conduct induction, product training, sales techniques, and customer service sessions
- Identify skill gaps and customize training interventions accordingly
- Evaluate training effectiveness and continuously improve content
Performance Monitoring & Management
- Track daily, weekly, and monthly performance metrics of store staff
- Drive key KPIs such as sales conversion, ATV (average transaction value), and customer satisfaction
- Provide coaching and feedback to improve individual and store performance
- Identify non-performers through data and observation
- Work closely with the HR team to take appropriate actions (PIPs, training interventions, or disciplinary measures)
- Ensure fair and consistent performance management practices

- Design and implement reward and recognition programs to motivate retail teams
- Identify top performers and create incentive mechanisms to drive sales excellence
- Foster a high-performance culture across stores
